TPT-Finder
a surgical probe for tissue identification
TPT-Finder is a research project in collaboration with labs in the UW ECE and Applied Mathematics departments. The project applies new tissue sensing technology to parathyroid identification for thyroid/parathyroid surgeries.
We conducted extensive research and interviews, developed a wide range of concept directions, and are currently in the clinical design review process.
